My wonderful friend Stephanie Hargrave has organized this fundraiser and there will be some amazing art for sale. It’s just ONE DAY, at her studio in West Seattle. ALL proceeds will go directly to Doctors Without Borders, Partners in Health, or Mercy Corps – the art buyers will write checks to these organizations directly. The goal is to raise several thousand dollars to send off by the end of the weekend.
On sale will be oil, acrylic, and encaustic paintings, mixed media works, ceramics, fine art photographs, jewelry, and more. It will be a great selection! There are 32+ artists donating their work. Many of these people are full time gallery artists, many are arts educators as well, and all are amazingly talented.
Participating artists include: Ann Kendall, Ann Marie Meredith, Britt Freda, Carla Davis, Carol Pierce, Christy Wires, Conrad Chavez, Cynthia LaRowe, Diane Culhane, Frances Smersh, Gail Howard, Gini Lawson, Jesse Young, Joelle King, Juan Alonso, Julie Biggs, Kamla Kakaria, Kathy Berg, Kelly Lyles, Catherine Grisez, Lara Swimmer, Layne Cook, Lonjina Verduggo, Marcos Lewis, Marita Dingus, Pam Keely, Rickie Wolfe, Sandy Glass, Sarah Savidge, Shaun Doll, Stephanie Hargrave and Sue Danielson.

Artist Trust Annual Benefit Auction 2010
February 20th
I'm really excited I got a piece into this auction. Artist Trust is an amazing local arts organization and this is their big annual fundraiser. You can't just donate art work to be auctioned off, you have to submit your artwork to a jury and be chosen to donate.
If you care about the local art scene, you should buy a ticket and join the party!! I'll be there and would love some company.
